Doctor Who Dalek Papercraft

Hi everyone !!

This time, I bring you a new Doctor Who Papercraft, a Dalek Papercraft as they appear in the Eleven era, behold the new Dalek paradigm !! I'm a generous guy, and Christmas is near sooooo with the basic model, there is a lot of textures which make you able to change the color of your Dalek and create an army that will exterminate everything in it's path !! So, if you feel like a Davros wanna be, what are you waiting for downloading this model ?

The model is not really difficult, except for the eye and the laser gun, some pieces are really tricky. But, the worst is in the Dalekanium balls all over the body, it's not difficult to make but because of he big number of it (48 in all )it makes the task really repetitive and kind of boring. I advice this model to the people who already have experience in papercraft.

Le modèle/The Model

Difficulty : Easy (le corps / the main body) / Difficult (l'oeil, le canon laser / the eye, the laser gun)

H: 25cm
W: 13.9cm
D: 20.8cm

  2. Hellsword, I built this model and would like to share pictures as well as offer a little friendly criticism. Could you please tell me where to send pictures to? Can you provide an email address? My main comments are that there are no tabs to attach some of the body sections of the Dalek to one another. In some cases, you would have glue being applied to two surfaces that have printer ink on them, which is never a good idea. Surfaces that will be glued together should not be printed on, otherwise the ink tends to run or the glue tends not to hold, especially for the smooth surfaces that laser printers create on inked surfaces. Therefore, I added a bunch of tabs to connect the body sections of the Dalek. I also added a simple head swivel so that the top head piece could rotate. I was also wondering why the lights on the head are designed differently, as well as one of the half-circular segments on the body--you made one be flat rather than curved--why?
